the most natural way to bring it down is to eat starfruit or drink its juice - not the store bought artificial juice, but the real fresh starfruit juice :)there are a lot of other factors affecting BP as well, such as lifestyle, etc. Try to find out what is affecting it. Sally

Hello.. I'm ur silent reader. My husband is diagnosed with high blood pressure last year. He's been taking pill prescribed by doctor since then. Anyway, reduce salty food, exercise more ( very crucial ) and eat lots of fruits and vegies. Hope it will help.
Hi Nadia,I'm your silent reader. My husband is diagnosed with high blood pressure last year. He's been taking pill/medicine prescribed by doctor since then. Kalau that patient is overweight, try to reduce weight because ada my friend tu lepas dia lose weight the HBP is gone forever. However, ada setengah org tu memang penyakit keturunan, meaning kurus pun masih ada HBP.As usual, doc selalu advise - exercise, try to control salty food, increase fruits and vegies intake and manage ur stress ( work stress can put a toll on ur health or anything that is bothering our mind). Hope it will help.
The best thing is to consult a physician, they usually will let you know if your blood pressure is too high, what you can do about it, or if you need to take any medication for it.In general, high blood pressure usually associated with sodium sensitivities. The typical advice is to lower sodium intake. Sodium/garam banyak in packaged food as preservatives, even roti kosong can have high sodium, let alone cheese.Oh, athletes tend to have lower blood pressure. So, I guess being active can helps. Urgh... I hate that part too. But I know this for a fact, I had a blood pressure taken after a workout before, and the reading was quite low compared to my regular blood pressure. So, again, just talk to your doctor.
salam.Try taking spirulina or chlorella. It may helps to stabilize the blood pressure, insya-Allah. And don't forget to drink 2-2.5 liters of water per day as well.
assalamua'laikum sis.i'm a doctor-to-be. fyi, hypertension=HBP is an life long, irreversible condition which in other words, once you get it, you will remain hypertensive. but, don't worry, it can be control. i try to put it in simpler way and hope it will benefit you. actually, you can get primary hypertension which there is no establish cause how it happen but several factors may play a role like genetic factor, obesity, high salt intake while secondary hypertension is usually due to underlying medical condition like renal disease, tumor(growth) in the adrenal gland(situated near to kidney which produce hormone to regulate blood pressure), narrowing of the blood vessel of the heart, certain drugs/medication and list go down. so, basicly we try to control the hypertension by lifestyle modification e.g dynamic exercise at least 30mins brisk walk per day, low salt+ low fat+low saturated fat intake (not so low as it can cause other prob too), weight reduction, increase fish and vege consumption, stop smoking if you are smoking. usually we give 3months to the patient to try lifestyle modification but it depends on how your b/p reading is! if these method failed, antihypertensive medication will be prescribe and you need to consult a physician + do some basic investigations first. so, don't worry. hypertension can be control so that you can avoid its complication. i've tried to put it in the shortest way and i hope it help you in any ways.take care. assalamua'laikum.
